Can you believe it? It’s almost 2016 the beginning of a new year and the time where we dedicate 21 days to a Daniel Fast. A Daniel Fast you say, and what is that or what is its purpose? The Daniel Fast is a 21 one day period of time where we don’t eat meats, pastries, desserts but limit our intake to vegetables, beans, grains, water.
The purpose is twofold, first, to pray and seek understanding for our lives personally for the new year. Daniel sought God for understanding to know what was to come for his people. The second purpose is to ask God to reveal His plans for Faith Life. We want to do what will please God, so let’s seek to know what that is.
